coffee is addictive , tapi tak kan nak minum se-gallon kot kan ? :p
tipu lah kan kalau tak pernah minum coffee , but how much is the consumption per day , that matters . aite .
but , i just googled and found out that it is generally 200-300 mg of caffeine per day is safe . wallaaa ~ :D that would be the amount from about two to three cups of coffee and i'm safer than i thought . haha :)
to those who doesnt know yet ,
coffee is one of the best antioxidants which contains 4x the amount of cancer fighting anti-oxidants as green tea , well yea , keeping the looks younger .
regular consumption , besides , lower the risk of developing Parkinson's disease , type 2 Diabetes , liver cirrhosis (google it yourself , haha) , gallstones , kidney stones , asthma , Alzheimer's , and as well as improved the mental performance .
but over-consumption ,
-leads to heart disease (increase of plasma homocysteine-risk factor for coronary heart disease)
-cholestrol ? (yes, elevates the LDL-bad cholestrol amount)
-osteoporosis ? (from an extra urinary excretion of calcium)
hypertension ? (yeap , by elevating the blood pressure)
sleep disturbance, well students love this . haha nevermind , this effect useful sometimes .
dehydration . why ? coffee is a mild diuretic-water retention substance , increases urine excretion . so bear in mind , a cup of coffee is considered safe if one's sure enough the body's water is enough to cover the heavy excretion .
atau pun , it is likely to take every cup of coffee follows with two cups of plain water .
and , the best is , to consume a cup of coffee begins with bismillah , right-handed drinking mode , follows with two cups of plain water . heee :)
